Gentry Humphrey Reveals Several 2012 Air Foamposite Releases

During last night's Sole Collector x Nike Las Vegas Zoom Rookie LWP launch event, newly appointed NSW Category Footwear Leader Gentry Humphrey was on hand to give us a look at several huge releases scheduled for 2012. Continuing to capatilize on the growing community of Air Foamposite fans, Nike Sportswear is set to release the Foamposite One and Foamposite Pro in a variety of unique colorways.

Immediately catching the attention of sneaker collectors at the RSVP-only event, Gentry showed up in a rainbow-colored Air Foamposite One known as the 'Galaxy All-Star" edition. With a constellation graphic on the lateral midfoot and a fading multi-color upper, While everyone was busy gathering their thoughts on those, Gentry immediately dropped another bomb with not only our first look at the "Metallic Red" Foamposite One, but also confirmation of a Valentine's Day 2012 release date

Penny signature Pack look inside

The theme of "Penny" and "1 Cent" was seen throughout our Nike x Sole Collector Presents: Penny Hardaway Event last night, whether it was the graphic printed full sheets of pennies surrounding the main stage or Gentry Humphrey's copper box of secret samples that've already been making the rounds online. Even the final packaging for our Penny Signature Pack carried over a currency aimed direction.

Inspired by classic heists, each of the five models included in the Nike x Sole Collector Penny Signature Pack were packaged in a branded wooden crate and housed inside of a custom money bag, with an image of Penny printed onto one side, and the shoe's profile along the opposite half.

With only twenty-five Nike x Sole Collector Penny Signature Packs made available via raffle last night, enjoy a look ahead at all of the crates together below, as well as Penny's personal #1 of 25 crate.

Nike zoom rookie glow in the dark

When Penny came into the league, he shined, so it makes perfect sense that his kicks glow. This hybrid Zoom Rookie is dressed in a Foamposite-esque white upper that comes alive when the lights go dead. The black nubuck upper and translucent outsole offset the upper, which shows one of the stronger glows of any sneaker to use this trick. No release date has been announced, but it will soon be available at select stores,
